Note: The Bible is complete and everything you may be going through or you may see going on in the world today has a reference in this Holy Book (The Bible).
As biblical as this teaching may be, it will be really practical and anyone who embraces these teachings irrespective of: Race, Gender, Age, Religion etc. will become wealthy beyond their wildest dreams.
God as we all know is the Supreme Being who created the heavens and the earth and everything within it (and without).
So today we will be talking about: THE THINGS THAT INVOKE THE BLESSINGS OF GOD.
This also brings us to the main topic: GIVING (also in your own context you can interchange the word Giving with Sowing→ Investing
Genesis 1:11-12
11 Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth”; and it was so.
12 And the earth brought forth grass, the herb that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.
Genesis 8:20→
20 Then Noah built an altar to the LORD, and took of every clean animal and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar
2 Corinthians 9:6→
The Cheerful Giver
6 But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.
These above texts are centered on the heart that gives, and bear it in mind that the entire world’s foundation is based on SEEDS.
Seeds are the future of the tree (in plants also same goes for animals) as such, we must learn to manage our seeds.
The summary of our lives is as a result of a seed or two we have sown or refused to sow.
From the actions of Abraham, even in his (Abraham) childlessness God demanded of him one seed (Isaac). Remember God promised to make him the father of many nations yet asked him to sacrifice to Him (God) Isaac who at that time seemed to be the only source with whom God will bring to fruition His promise. As hard as that decision was for Abraham, he freely offered → Give → Sow → Invest Isaac as he believes He (GOD) who has commanded him is able to bring to fruition His promise.
You are reading this article now, and I’m quite sure you like to enjoy the finer things of life,
but how much are you ready to give for that thing to come to reality.
God in his word says he would bless the work of your hands, but remember this statement today:
HOW CAN I HELP YOU? = WHAT DO YOU HAVE?
Still going by the Bible, the story of the Widow and Elisha in 2Kings 4:2
2 So Elisha said to her, “What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?” And she said, “Your maidservant has nothing in the house but a jar of oil.”

Another example is the boy with 12 loaves of bread and two fish during Jesus’ earthly ministry…
Most often I site the examples of Linda Ikeji, Mark Zuckerberg, Aliko Dangote and the likes in my training series.
LINDA IKEJI: This is a Nigerian female “very successful” blogger who is in her “Billions of Naira”, she didn’t attain this height in the society and wealth-wise by eating up all her seed. She sowed (i.e. Invested a portion of cash when she hasn’t yet become a millionaire to build her blog page (a couple of dollars I guess cos blogging really doesn’t gulp enough fund as building a proper website), committed herself to nurture her investment by constantly uploading contents on her blog page and not forgetting publicity.
That $100 investment today is giving her billions in return (NOT FORGETTING THE GOD FACTOR)
Mark Zuckerberg: Some time ago while in high school, the young chap (Mark) called a couple of friends to his “dorm” room to discuss Facebook, some turned him down and some joined him in the quest, today those who joined him are billion dollar earners. And you and I know that Facebook was not created with billions of dollars. It is just like every other website/ social media platform probably a couple of $100 website. Also not forgetting the God factor…
DANGOTE: As the stories has it, was set up for business by his uncle with half a million Naira and today is the richest man in Africa (GOD FACTOR INCLUSIVE)
These are people with two arms, two legs, breathe, pulse, one head same as you. The same God that worked for them turning that thing in their hand (SEED) to spring forth blossom outcome is the one working for everyone here on earth as He (GOD) IS THE MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE irrespective of your age, race, gender or religion.
WHAT DO YOU HAVE IN HAND?
What you have in hand really matters for God to work with (e.g. Moses splitting the Red Sea)
Your miracle for breakthrough most often is dependent on that thing that seem little in your hand for God to bring to bear that which you seek, because God likes to use the foolish things of this earth to bring to bear the manifestation of His POWER 1Corinthians 1:18-29
Christ the Power and Wisdom of God
18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
19 For it is written: ” I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.”
20 Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
21 For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.
22 For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom;
23 but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness,
24 but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
Glory Only in the Lord
26 For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called.
27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;
28 and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are,
29 that no flesh should glory in His presence.
ISAIAH 29:14
14 Therefore, behold, I will again do a marvelous work Among this people, A marvelous work and a wonder; For the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, And the understanding of their prudent men shall be hidden.”
Again I say to you: In the Bible are contained principles that will outlive us, also the principles that created the world we live in.
So do not forget while investing into your material wealth to also have a good record for the world after (say Heaven) as no one knows what holds after death/life here on earth, as such we must be committed to Giving/Investing in the things of God: giving arms to the poor and needy, pay your tithe (which is 10% of your increase/profit) same money shouldn’t be used for charity. I propose of 100% of your profit/earnings, set aside 30% (10% tithe, 10% giving back to the society such as arms and charity, 10% expenses) then 70% is for your investments, and wealth amassing (I’m just saying).
Remember: Until a grain of maize (SEED) goes into the ground (decays & germinates) it cannot produce multiple grains/seed
A WORD IS SAID TO BE ENOUGH FOR THE WISE.
Knowledge: we all know 2 X 3 = 6
Understanding: This is you comprehending the interplay of 2 and 3 as to get 6 (i.e. 2 in 3 places).
Wisdom: Is the application of knowledge and understanding, which is also the personality of the person that carries it.
Your good sense of wisdom is via the information that is given to you (remember the right use of information is POWER).
You need to change your attitude if you are a farmer that complains on another bountiful harvest/produce while yours is little. The word for you: “why not cultivate the specie that brings forth bountiful harvest?”
You like to be like Linda Ikeji, Mike Adenuga, Otedola, Dangote, Mark Zuckerberg, word for you: INVEST (SOW, GIVE).
Investing/Sowing/Giving is not a measure of how RICH or POOR you are. In order for you to reap, there’s always a SEED that is required of you.Your Personal Project This Year: Willingly make SOWING/GIVING/INVESTING your priority this year. Exodus30:15
15 The rich shall not give more and the poor shall not give less than half a shekel, when you give an offering to the LORD, to make atonement for yourselves.
And when all this is done in righteousness, see THE GOD FACTOR SET IN!!
